Explore from Yangon – the garden city and the main gate way to Myanmar to Mandalay – the culture canter and its environ, Bagan – the richest archeological sights in Asia, and Ngapali Beach, situated about 7 km away from Thandwe (Sandoway), one of the ancient Rakhine (formerly Arakan) towns. It is said to have been named after the Naple of Italy by a homesick Italian. It is famous for its natural and unspotted beauty up to this day. You will find the local peoples and landscape beyond your imagination.

The luxury cruise operates along the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River from Mandalay to Bagan for two nights experience on board.  You may get the totally different taste been hidden from the world. These 3 deck cruiser consists 14 state cabins and 38 superior cabins comprise twin bed with two panoramic windows, and 4 single cabins. And you can gaze the beautiful the surrounding beauties and sunset from the observation desk. There is a swimming pool and you can enjoy a cool refreshing drink from the top desk bar. Buffet lunches and afternoon tea are also served on the observation desk, weather permitting.

This program is fixed arrival on every Tuesdays due to the Road to Mandalay Schedule. And the program may be changed due to the cruise schedule.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01:  Yangon Arrival

Arrive at Yangon international airport and be welcomed by your personal tour guide. Start Yangon sightseeing with a visit to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda (one of the largest reclining image of Buddha in Myanmar) to see a huge reclining Buddha image. Then, enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda (its golden stupa covered with 60 tons of pure gold), famous worldwide – its golden stupa is the ‘Heart’ of Buddhism Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. There are always many Myanmar People praying and making offerings at Shwedagon, and it’s fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by. Transfer to the hotel for check in.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Yangon International airport for flight to Mandalay. Mandalay, the commercial centre and cultural tourism site, was established in 1857 by King Mindon, Arrive at Tada Oo International airport and direct sightseeing to the ancient city of Amarapura. Visit to Mahagundayone Monastery to study the daily life of the monks observing Buddha scriptures, U Bein Wooden Bridge (1.2km long) across Taung Tha Man Lake. Proceed to Ava (Inwa). Sightseeing inclusive of Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery , the hand-made workshop industry producing lacquer alms for Monk. and then drive to Sagaing and visit Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda which is the copy of Mahaceti Pagoda in Siri Lanka and Sagaing Hill the center of Meditation. Then drive to Mandalay and check in at the hotel.

Day 03: Mandalay

After early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the jetty to take a boat trip to Mingun. Visit Mingun Unfinished Pagoda, Mingun Bell, one of the world largest hanging bronze bells and Myatheindan Pagoda. After sightseeing in Mingun, sail back to Mandalay. Afternoon visit Mahamuni Buddha Image, Zegyo Market and some of Mandalay’s cottage industries, such as weaving and tapestry making, Burmese candy making, Bamboo fan making near Eindaw Yar Pagoda, Atumahsi Monastery and Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery), Kuthodaw (Maha Lawkamarazein Pagoda) which is famous as the world largest book of many stone slabs on which is inscribed the whole Buddhist Literature.. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill.

Day 04: Mandalay

Early transfer to the jetty to take a river cruise trip to Bagan and enjoy a decadent breakfast.Disembark for a horse and cart tour of Ava, the ancient capital. Visit the teak monastery of Bagaya Kyaung and the stucco-covered royal monastery, Me Nu Okk Kyaung. Enjoy a ‘longyi’ sarong tying and ‘thanaka’ application demonstration after lunch on board. Come evening, a glamorous cocktail party is followed by a spectacular dinner.

Day 05:

Bagan with Belmon RTM River Cruise    (B,L,D)

After breakfast, disembark for an introductory tour of Bagan. Visit two of the major pagodas along with a local market and lacquer workshop.Return to the ship for lunch, before continuing your exploration of the area. Tour a local village along with other pagodas and enjoy a spellbinding sunset panorama across the temple complex. Dinner on board is followed by local entertainment.

Day 06: Belmon RTM River Cruise

Enjoy your final breakfast aboard Belmond Road to Mandalay before disembarking for your onward travel arrangements and be welcomed by your personal tour guide. Transfer to your hotel for check in. Full day visit included: Such as Kyansittha U-min, a tunnel with interesting paintings. Shwezigon pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century, Khay Min Ga Temple, noted for its spectacular panoramic view of the area’s many monuments, and Ananda Temple, Htilominlo Temple, noted for its plaster carvings and Tharabar Gate, the only remaining gate of 9 century  A.D. Then visits to That byinnyu Temple, Dhammyangyi Temple and Sulamani Temple/ Thabeik Hmauk and Maha Bhawdi Temple and then continue to Myinkaba village famous lacquer ware shops and Manuha Temple, built in Mon style in 1059, Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument that is such to have been the palace of King Manuha, then Myingaba Gu Byauk Gyi Temple, Shwesandaw Pagoda, built by King Narapati Sithu, Bupaya. For sunset on the bank of Ayeyarwaddy River from Pyathadapaya. Especially for the sunset in the vicinity of Bagan’s ancient monuments. Transfer to Hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight back to Yangon. On the way to the hotel, visit Kabar Aye (the World Peace pagoda) and Maha Pasana (the great cave for Buddhist synod) and check in at the hotel. And then shopping at Bogyoke Market (formerly known as Scott’s market, closed on Monday) of hundreds of shops where you can find local products such as Gems & Jewelry, slippers, cloth, and so on. Evening stroll along the China Town and study the ways of living of Yangon citizens (which can observe the tradition and modern costume).

Day 11: Yangon Departure
